PROFESSIONAL ILLUSTRATION
I started out in the industry doing concept art, illustration and 2d animation and gradually shifted into User Interface design, but I continue and always will work to hone my concept art skills. Below is some concept work I did on games along with my personal portfolio.
PERSONAL PROJECTS
In my spare time I do a lot of worldbuilding and sketches for some intellectual properties I am developing to not only expand my concept portfolio but demonstrate my creative ability. My favorite things to create are science fiction and cartoons.
Two characters from a science fiction project I have in the works
Bruce, Frank and William. Characters for a comic
Backgrounds I did for a client's game.
Practicing alien designs
Study working with 3d for concept art
Captain Kudzu's homeworld
Rough sketch explorations
2D ANIMATION
While I was still attending the Art Institute, I interned at two animation studios, Istation and Brazen (GreenGrass Studios at the time) doing mostly 2d animation but also some illustration.
Animations done for Istation, these scenes are without sound and are meant to be animated with several languages. I have also included the test that got me the internship
While at Brazen I did the in-betweens for a commercial for McDonalds, with this project I worked with my professors Johan Klingler and Stephen Steinbach to get the project animated and cleaned up, all in one night.
